Tune in this Friday to hear the world première of State of Denial: New York’s Irish Undocumented, by Tinpot Productions.
State of Denial analyses to what extent the Irish have influenced New York and its people and how in turn they have been influenced and have or have not adapted to this foreign territory and its people. The documentary deals with the historical aspects of emigration and traces its relationship to today’s undocumented communities.
The programmes airs at 16.00 GMT, repeated at 02.00 GMT, and is, of course, available to listen to around the world on the Flirt FM live stream.
State of Denial is funded by the Broadcasting Commission of Ireland's Sound & Vision fund.
