Then at 16.30, Rock Routes With Neil Humphries

Getting old is when it takes longer to recoyer from having fun than it did to have it in the first place! However there is one good thing about being over 50 – I lived through some wonderful years of Rock & in these shows I try to take you on some of the many and varied Routes through Rock.

The content can vary from chart hits to obscure indy releases but mostly focuses on albums from the Classic Rock Era. Each show is themed somehow – whether it’s by Band, Genre, Theme, Year or whatever – and although most of the music used could be described as mid 60’s to late 70’s Rock, I’m not stuck in that box and Folk, Classical, Blue-Grass, Country, Detroit/Motown, Reggae & other strands as well as more recent music have drifted in from time to time.

One of the themes I use is a “Personal Pick” – so if there’s anyone out there in Radio Listener Land who has 26 to 27 minutes-worth of favourite music from this era, contact me and we’ll see what we can do.
