Monday 28th September 2015 is officially Flirt FM's birthday, so we want to throw her a big party the preceding weekend...

Friday 25th September 

1pm Journalism School Roundtable, Room 1001 Hardiman Research Building (open to all) [Speakers include; Louise Clarke, iRadio; John Nolan, Claremorris Community Radio; Emma Goode, NUI Galway; Paula Healy, Flirt FM]

7pm College Bar Meet-up
A relaxed launch to the weekend, there'll be a chance to catch up, chat and enjoy some free finger food.

9pm - 12am Silent Disco at Roisin Dubh.
 
 Former station managers Fiona McNulty and Keith Wallace will be playing you all your Flirt favourites from 1995-2005 in a DJ battle with current staff Paula Healy and Alan Meaney, who will be bringing you selections from 2005-2015.

12.00pm Sign in, say Hi! Get an nametag, 
Áras na Mac Léinn

12.30pm Lunch at Áras na Mac Léinn, NUI Galway

1pm - 5pm - Live radio show on Flirt FM 101.3 where presenter Paddy Duffy will chat to current and ex volunteers and staff about their time at the station. Each person will share their memories, pick a song that represents their time on air and there will be a couple of live bands in studio. Clips of old shows through the years will also be included.

2pm - Children's entertainment at The Hub, Áras na Mac Léinn.  If you are bringing the little ones along, they can enjoy face painting, games and some craft activities with Ailbhe and Eithne at the Hub.

1pm - 5pm - Workshops at The View in Áras na Mac Léinn. Former Flirt FM presenters will be talking about what the station meant to them in their career paths when moving onto other media outlets. 
 [Speakers include; Sarah O'Brien, Ross Cunningham, Yvonne Igoe, Jennifer Allen,
Chris Greene, Gavin Jennings]

5pm Documentary and wine reception at The View in Áras na Mac Léinn.  A documentary on the history of the station will be aired including contributions from past staff and volunteers.  Wine and nibbles will be served.

7.30pm Three course dinner at The Salthill Hotel.
 
 A chance to chat to that person you did a breakfast show with on Thursday mornings in 2004, have some lovely food and later dance the night away. This is a ticketed event and tickets can be purchased from Eventbrite here.
Tickets are €20 (unwaged) and €35 (waged) until the 23rd of September.
