On Now: Off air

World College Radio Day, apart from raising a greater, international awareness around College Radio Stations around the world, is also about Arts and Music, with a 24 hours marathon to present independent and emerging music from all over the Globe, with live sessions and special interviews. WCRD celebrates also the contribution of young people as creators of innovative contents and new communication systems that make borders disappear. This year's theme is Global Solidarity Rocks - at a time when campuses are quieter than ever, student radio is still broadcasting loud and clear.

Flirt FM (along with our sister station Wired FM in Limerick) have been chosen to represent Ireland in this year's World College Radio Day 24hr Global Marathon. Hear NUI Galway Radio Society at 1pm, and Wired FM at 3pm (making an Fresh Air, Edinburgh sandwich, as they're on at 2pm).
